Mission Statement

To mobilize Gambians at home and abroad to achieve peaceful political change by uniting behind a visionary presidential candidate for the 2026 election. We are dedicated to building a coalition that ensures the establishment of a government committed to eradicating corruption, implementing critical reforms, reducing poverty, and fostering a new era of accountability and patriotic purpose.

Core Motivation:
Founded by patriotic Gambians deeply concerned by the nation’s declining political and security situation, worsening living conditions, and rampant corruption. We act in response to the urgent need to halt this decline, reverse the betrayal of public trust since independence, and re-awaken a national spirit of integrity and common good.nation’s future.

Primary Goal:

Organizational Resume: The Gambia Renewal Coalition (GRC)

To identify, endorse, and provide comprehensive financial, strategic, and grassroots support to a credible, reform-minded presidential candidate for The Gambia’s 2026 election, in collaboration with like-minded groups and individuals.

Guiding Principles for The Gambia We Want in the 21st Century:

  • A Government of Accountability: One that audits itself, fights corruption at all levels, and signals a definitive break from the self-enrichment of the past.
  • A Government for the People: One that is responsive and implements policies focused on poverty reduction, security, and improving living standards for all citizens.
  • A Re-awakened Patriotism: To rebuild a national ethos where public service and the common good are paramount, restoring citizen faith in their nation’s future.

  3. Public Engagement & Advocacy: Raising awareness about the need for systemic change and the coalition’s mission.
  4. Grassroots Mobilization & Fundraising: Building a broad-based movement and financial foundation to empower our political objective.
